Job summary

Flex is seeking a Program Manager based in Malaysia to lead cross-functional teams in delivering customer-focused products and services. You will guide development and implementation of project, pricing and program strategies to continue delivering value to the business and its customers.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and effective stakeholder management to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in program administration/management or related area.
• Advanced operations, technical and people/process skills with customer relationship abilities.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes and their interdependencies at the site.
• Accountability for the program wellness.
• Expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
• Detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical areas or broad breadth across multiple areas.
• Understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets.
• Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
• Assist with contract negotiations as required.
• Oversee interdepartmental activities ensuring adherence to development timelines, delivery, quality and business metrics.
• Review program proposals to resolve time frames, funding, staffing and resource allocation.
• Establish work plans and staffing for each phase and arrange recruitment or assignment.
• Coordinate product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction across accounts.
• Be the key channel of communication for customers and act as escalation for issues.
• Conduct customer satisfaction reviews and corrective actions.
• Maintain existing business with customers and develop new opportunities.
• Monitor project deliverables and ensure timely completion.
• Hold up production sites for projects, costs and customer-related matters through business and expertise.

Summary

The “Program Manager” will be based in Flex PTP, reporting to Program Director.

In this role, you will be In-charge of guiding a team of cross functional experts in the delivery of customer focused products and services and will hold up development and implementation of a project, pricing and program strategies in order to continue to deliver value to the business and its customers.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets.
• In charge of tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
• Provide help, knowledge and expertise with contract negotiations as required.
• Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all adherences made relative a to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics.
• Reviews program proposal or plan to resolve time frame, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of program.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of program and arranges for recruitment or assignment of personnel.
• Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction also has control for different accounts of various complexities.

• In charge of customer´s satisfaction reviews and corrective actions.
• Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
• Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met.
