Job summary

TCW Group in Malaysia is seeking an Application Engineer to optimize production processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves applying FMEA, Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and PDCA to drive productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for productivity and efficiency improvement.
• Apply continuous improvement tools such as FMEA, Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and PDCA.
• Lead and participate in improvement projects related to cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and quality enhancement.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Collect, analyze, and present production data using engineering and statistical methods.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to drive improvement initiatives.
• Support management in achieving operational KPIs and productivity targets.
