Job summary

Advantest is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Penang, Malaysia to provide technical support for equipment installation, relocation, acceptances, upgrades, and repairs. You will troubleshoot test programs, hardware and yield issues, and recommend improvements for equipment performance and production yield.

The role requires 4–6 years in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment support, strong C++ and Java skills, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness, productivity improvement, smart factory concepts, and factory automation.
• Strong customer management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, customer-focused, quality-conscious, and results-oriented.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
• Occasional travel required, sometimes on short notice.
