Job summary

Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food manufacturing facility. You will supervise packaging, filling and processing, plan manpower, monitor performance, and drive improvements to ensure quality, safety and efficiency across shifts.

The role requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience in food/bev manufacturing, knowledge of GMP/HACCP and strong leadership to coach the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Food Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years supervisory experience in a food & beverage manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manpower planning and team supervision.
• Knowledge of packaging, filling, sterilization and processing machinery.
• Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety and workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities including packaging, filling and processing.

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining product quality and food safety standards, supervising production personnel, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:-

Supervise daily production activities involving packaging, filling, and processing operations.

Plan and allocate manpower effectively to ensure optimum productivity and workflow efficiency.

Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and performance.

Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training to production team members.

Ensure machinery is operated safely and efficiently, including monitoring machine performance and conducting basic troubleshooting.

Maintain product quality and ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

Coordinate with the maintenance team on machine repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.

Maintain housekeeping standards and implement 5S practices within the production area.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Prepare and maintain production records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements:-

Education

Diploma or Certificate in Food Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment.

Experience in manpower planning and team supervision.

Knowledge of packaging, filling, sterilization, and processing machinery operations.

Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.

Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety practices.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
