Job summary

Yee Lee Corporation Bhd (YLC) is seeking a Machine Operator to supervise plant operations at a busy industrial site in Ipoh. The role requires basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, plus experience with control panels and plant equipment.

You will lead a small team, ensure safety and quality standards, and help maintain ISO, GMP, and HACCP compliance while adhering to company policies and shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience as Machine Operator or Senior Machine Operator
• Basic Mechanical & Electrical knowledge
• Familiarity with operation skills of plant equipment and control panels
• Leadership to train and guide subordinates with good communication
• GMP, HACCP, ISO knowledge
• Understand company policies (Anti-bribery, Quality, Safety, Halal)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute plant operations to meet performance objectives
• Control and maximize production output to meet targets and quality specs
• Update documents for ISO, HACCP, GMP in line with ISO objectives
• Plan plant maintenance work (cleaning, calibration, painting, checks)
• Train and guide subordinates to perform at their best
• Carry out housekeeping and ensure plant compliance

Job description

Location: Kawasan Perindustrian Tasek, Ipoh Perak

Work Hour: Monday to Saturday 2 @ 3 shifts (7.00am - 3.00pm / 3.00pm - 11.00pm / 11.00pm - 7.00am / 7.00am - 7.00pm / 7.00pm - 7.00am)

Requirements

Having relevant working experience in Machine Operator, Senior Machine Operator, Assistance Supervisor

Basic Mechanical & Electrical Knowledge

Experience in operation skill of Control Panels, e.g. Membrane Filter Panel, Crystallizer Tank Panel, Chiller Control Panel, MCC Panel etc.

Familiarize of operation skills of plant equipment, e.g. control valves, pumps, motors etc and related storage tanks, oil storage tank transfer & plant and process troubleshooting skills

Leadership skill in order to train and guide subordinates to perform to the best together with communication skill within subordinate and superior

GMP, HACCP, ISO requirement knowledge

Understanding of all company policy, e.g. Anti-bribery, Quality Policy, Safety Policy, HALAL Policy etc.

Job Scope

Supervise and execute the operations of the plant to ensure all procedures and instruction carried out to meet plant performance and objective.

Control and maximize production output to meet the target and quality specification.

Update all documents for plant requirement e.g. ISO, HACCP, GMP etc. and work within the ISO objectives.

Planning plant maintenance work, e.g. clearing chiller condenser, membrane filter, heat exchanger, painting, and equipment calibration.

Train and guide subordinates to perform to the best.

To carry out housekeeping & cleaning of plants, e.g. process tank, cooling tower, STS tank & etc.

To attend all trainings & all medical checkup that provided or arranged by company.

To carry out plant equipment inspection, e.g. JKKP inspection.

To record all daily ISO form.
