Job summary

Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food manufacturing facility. You will supervise packaging, filling and processing, plan manpower, monitor performance, and drive improvements to ensure quality, safety and efficiency across shifts.

The role requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience in food/bev manufacturing, knowledge of GMP/HACCP and strong leadership to coach the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Food Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years supervisory experience in a food & beverage manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manpower planning and team supervision.
• Knowledge of packaging, filling, sterilization and processing machinery.
• Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety and workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities including packaging, filling and processing.
• Plan and allocate manpower to optimise productivity and workflow.
• Monitor attendance, discipline and performance of staff.
• Provide coaching and on‑the‑job training to production team members.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain product quality and compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, food safety and workplace safety compliance.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain production records and reports.
