Job summary

Green Island Feed Mills Sdn. Bhd., an aquaculture feed manufacturer in Malaysia, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily feed mill operations, ensuring output, quality and on-time delivery.

You will plan manpower, production schedules, and material usage; monitor processes, machine performance, downtime, yield and wastage; lead and train operators and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Planning teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Manufacturing or related fields.
• 3–5 years of production experience including supervision.
• Experience in feed milling, food manufacturing, agriculture, FMCG, or process manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare production reports and use Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to work in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment.

Job description

Supervise daily feed mill production activities to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.

Plan manpower allocation, production schedules, and material usage.

Monitor production processes, machine performance, downtime, yield, and wastage.

Ensure raw materials and finished feed meet approved specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve production issues.

Lead, train, and monitor production operators, including their attendance, discipline, and performance.

Conduct shift briefings, maintain proper shift handovers, and prepare daily production reports.

Support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Perform other production-related duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of production experience, including experience supervising operators.

Experience in feed milling, food manufacturing, agriculture, FMCG, or process manufacturing is preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Able to prepare production reports and use Microsoft Office.

Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Able to work in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding manufacturing environment.
