Job summary

Green Island Feed Mills Sdn. Bhd., an aquaculture feed manufacturer in Malaysia, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily feed mill operations, ensuring output, quality and on-time delivery.

You will plan manpower, production schedules, and material usage; monitor processes, machine performance, downtime, yield and wastage; lead and train operators and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Planning teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Manufacturing or related fields.
• 3–5 years of production experience including supervision.
• Experience in feed milling, food manufacturing, agriculture, FMCG, or process manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare production reports and use Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to work in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily feed mill production activities to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Plan manpower allocation, production schedules, and material usage.
• Monitor production processes, machine performance, downtime, yield, and wastage.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve production issues.
• Lead, train, and monitor production operators, including attendance and performance.
• Conduct shift briefings, ensure proper handovers, and prepare daily production reports.
• Support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the immediate superior.
