Job summary

Yenher Biotech SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to assist the Plant Manager in overseeing daily feed mill operations, ensuring targets for production, quality, safety, and efficiency are met.

You will coordinate production schedules, supervise staff, and work with Maintenance, QA/QC, Warehouse and Procurement to keep production uninterrupted while maintaining GMP and environmental standards. Familiarity with SOPs and staff development is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Agriculture or Engineering.
• Mandarin speaker preferred to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Job description

Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the feed mill to ensure production targets, quality, safety, and efficiency are achieved.

Coordinate production schedules and monitor manufacturing processes to ensure smooth operations.

Supervise production personnel and provide guidance to ensure compliance with company SOPs and feed safety standards.

Work closely with the Maintenance, QA/QC, Warehouse, and Procurement departments to support uninterrupted production.

Monitor production performance, investigate operational issues, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

Assist in inventory control of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to support production requirements.

Monitor compliance with GMP, workplace safety, and environmental regulations.

Assist in staff training, performance monitoring, and workforce development.

Perform other duties assigned by the plant manager and act on their behalf when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience in poultry, livestock, aquaculture or pet food is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree of Agriculture or Engineering is preferred
• Mandarin Speaker is preferred (the ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking superior, customers and stakeholders)
