Terberg Manufacturing & Assembly Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, is seeking an Executive, Assembly to lead daily manufacturing activities and ensure safe, high-quality production. You will coordinate manpower, monitor KPIs, and collaborate across departments to maintain smooth production flow and readiness for new models.

Execute daily assembly operations to support achievement of production targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).
Assist in investigating and resolving daily production issues related to manpower, materials, equipment, work in progress (WIP) and product quality to minimize downtime and support production continuity.
Support manpower allocation and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure production schedules are achieved efficiently.
Coordinate daily operational activities with operators, supervisors and supporting departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, cost efficiency and process effectiveness.
Assist in reviewing and improving assembly processes, line balancing, work methods and workstation layouts to enhance production performance.
Monitor and report production KPIs, including output achievement, productivity (MH/Unit), cycle time, downtime and overall equipment utilization, and highlight issues to superior.
Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Quality, Purchasing, Warehouse and Maintenance to support new model introduction, engineering changes and production readiness.
Ensure compliance with Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), quality standards and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.
Support process improvement activities, trial builds, production validation and implementation of engineering changes to ensure stable manufacturing processes.
Maintain and update production documentation including work instructions, process flow, production records and KPI reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as 5 Why and Fishbone Diagram and follow up on corrective actions.
Assist in training and guiding operators to ensure proper work practice and adherence to standards.
Participate in plant safety programs and maintain a safe working environment through compliance with company safety policies and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing/assembly line environment.
