Job summary

KES International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead PCBA production teams, ensuring daily schedules meet customer requirements while maintaining IPC workmanship standards. You will manage manpower and machines, monitor yield and efficiency, and collaborate with Planning, Engineering, QA and Design to resolve production issues.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in PCBA manufacturing, strong leadership, and knowledge of 5S and SPC.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field as stated.
• 3–5 years in a PCBA manufacturing environment with SMT and Through-Hole processes.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
• Knowledge of 5S, SPC and QC tools.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Supervisor to support our production operations. This role involves leading teams to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards in a PCBA manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing daily production schedules to meet customer requirements

Allocate manpower and machine resources efficiently to achieve production targets

Monitor production output, yield loss, machine utilization, and overall work efficiency

Ensure products meet IPC workmanship and customer quality standards

Supervise, coach, train, certify, and monitor production operators

Work closely with Production Planning, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Design teams to resolve production issues

Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, SPC, and quality control activities

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and company procedures

Prepare weekly and monthly production utilization reports

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment, handling SMT and Through-Hole production

Good understanding of PCBA assembly processes

Familiar with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards

Knowledge of 5S, SPC, and QC Tools

Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills
