Job summary

KES International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to develop, evaluate, and optimize SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes. The role focuses on continuous quality improvement, supporting production activities, and achieving KPIs.

You will lead process parameter optimization for solder paste printing, pick & place, reflow, washing, and wave soldering. The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Electronic, Process, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering with 5+ years in PCBA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electronic, Process, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering.
IPC-A-610 knowledge is required.
Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes for new SMT products.
Collaborate with design teams during DRR to minimize manufacturability and quality risks.
Troubleshoot process and design issues; implement corrective actions.
Coordinate and support production line activities with Production and QA teams.
Monitor and drive process performance to meet KPI and quality targets.
Oversee AOI/ASI systems and performance.
Maintain and update process engineering documentation.
Conduct process evaluations, data collection, validation, and standardization.
Establish and optimize machine parameters for Solder Paste Printing, P&P Machines, Reflow, Washing, and Wave Soldering.
Support monthly preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
