Job summary

Mafipro in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee a production team and plan manpower for smooth manufacturing. You will ensure SOPs are followed and work with QC to uphold GMP, ISO and HACCP standards while coordinating with maintenance for equipment upkeep.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Food Science or related field, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong leadership and bilingual communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential.

• To supervise a team of worker, planning of manpower and to ensure smooth production.
• To ensure that standard operation procedure is being followed during production.
• To work together with QC personnel to ensure products are manufactured under safe & wholesome manners with compliances to GMP, ISO & HACCP and other regulatory standards.
• To complete production planning as planned.
• Control of safety and housekeeping of the production areas to ensure clean and safe working environment.
• To work together with line leader to solve production problem.
• To maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedure.
• Support and implement identification of environmental aspects in EMS.
• To cooperate with maintenance to ensure effective maintenance of all machinery and equipment in production areas.
• Appraisals of workers performance and improve their working performance.
• Improvement in the utilization of equipment, productivity, quality and yield.
• Control and improve of production wastages, labor, water consumption, steam consumption, fish recovery, chemical consumption and kg/ctn.
• To carry out internal audit for ISO, HACCP, EMS and Halal system.
• To carry out any duty as instructed by the superior.
• In charge of the coordination of corrective action to be taken in case of any non-conforming products regarding the food safety were found.
• Coordinate the implementation of hygiene and sanitation program in Production Department.
• To liaise with QC Department for In-process Inspection and testing.
• To ensure proper handling of raw materials to prevent deterioration and / or contamination to these materials.Initiate action to prevent the occurrence and recurrence of any non-conformances relating to the product, process and the HACCP system upon review and approval of Production Manager.To submit monthly KPI reports to Production HOD for monitoring.

Requirement:
