Job summary

LEM MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks a seasoned Supply Chain professional to lead production planning and procurement for a manufacturing center.

You will coordinate with distribution and production teams and drive project transfers and continuous improvements. Applicants should have a degree in supply chain management or related field, 5+ years in supply chain operations, and familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in supply chain operations.
• Lean capabilities and problem solving.
• Experience in S&OP process.
• Experience in multinational environment.
• Understand ERP functionalities and standardize processes.
• Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Job description

In this position, you will mainly drive the production planning & procurement activities for a manufacturing center. You will be the key contact for distribution and production community. You will also be involved in new project transfer and improvement projects

Responsibilities;

Ensure smooth communication with production and distribution centers in order to increase customer’s satisfaction.

Analyze MRP and plan production orders, considering the bottlenecks and the production optimization.

Ensure keeping the right stock levels for components and finished goods in accordance to Corporate inventory strategy.

Manage exceptions by communicating with Sales and Operations in a timely manner.

Ensure master data maintenance for the portfolio.

Optimize day to day operations and tasks with a continuous improvement mindset.

Ensure processes and guidelines are followed. In case of gaps, make a proposal for changes.

Report KPIs and improvements.

Participate in project transfer.

Bring and integrate new ideas.

Requirements;

Degree in Supply Chain Management, APICs certification or any related discipline

A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations

Lean capabilities, problems solving, value stream mapping.

Experience in S&OP process

Experience in MNC environment

Understand ERP functionalities and being able to standardize processes.

Familiar with Microsoft D365 will be added advantage.
