Job summary

LEM is seeking a skilled supply chain professional to lead production planning and procurement for our manufacturing center in Malaysia. You will serve as the main contact for distribution and production teams and drive improvements through new projects and transfers.

Key responsibilities include analyzing MRP to plan production orders, maintaining optimal stock levels, and coordinating with Sales and Operations to resolve exceptions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or APICS certification, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations.
• Strong lean, problem-solving and value stream mapping capabilities.
• Experience with S&OP processes.
• Experience in a multinational company environment.
• Understanding of ERP functionalities and ability to standardize processes.
• Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is advantageous.
• Able to handle agility and stress, and manage conflicts.
• A proven ability to lead teams and drive change.
• Reliable, committed and able to influence decisions.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with production and distribution centers to boost customer satisfaction.
• Analyze MRP and plan production orders, addressing bottlenecks.
• Maintain correct stock levels for components and finished goods per strategy.
• Manage exceptions by coordinating with Sales and Operations.
• Maintain master data for the portfolio.
• Improve day-to-day operations with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ensure processes and guidelines are followed; propose changes where gaps exist.
• Report KPIs and track improvements.
• Participate in project transfers and implement new ideas.

Job description

n this position, you will mainly drive the production planning & procurement activities for a manufacturing center. You will be the key contact for distribution and production community. You will also be involved in new project transfer and improvement projects

Responsibilities;

• Ensure smooth communication with production and distribution centers in order to increase customer's satisfaction.
• Analyze MRP and plan production orders, considering the bottlenecks and the production optimization.
• Ensure keeping the right stock levels for components and finished goods in accordance to Corporate inventory strategy.
• Manage exceptions by communicating with Sales and Operations in a timely manner.
• Ensure master data maintenance for the portfolio.
• Optimize day to day operations and tasks with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ensure processes and guidelines are followed. In case of gaps, make a proposal for changes.
• Report KPIs and improvements.
• Participate in project transfer.
• Bring and integrate new ideas.

Requirements;

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, APICs certification or any related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations
• Lean capabilities, problems solving, value stream mapping.

• Experience in MNC environment
• Understand ERP functionalities and being able to standardize processes.
• Familiar with Microsoft D365 will be added advantage.
