Job summary

Eramas Ingredients Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan seeks a Production Manager/Assistant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, and drive continuous improvement across lines.

You will plan production schedules, manage budgets, coordinate RM/PM planning with PPIC, work with R&D on NPD trials, lead the production team, monitor OEE, and implement PDCA cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Proven track record in improving efficiency and reducing downtime.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules to meet targets.
• Review weekly and monthly production planning based on forecast and budget.
• Prepare and manage the annual production budget.
• Coordinate with PPIC for RM and PM planning.
• Collaborate with R&D for NPD trial runs.
• Lead the production team to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure adequate resources to meet production demands.
• Maintain and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for lines.
• Drive PDCA based cost-saving initiatives.
