Job summary

NL Metals Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Engineer to plan and coordinate daily production engineering processes for high quality products and to meet targets.

You will develop best practices to improve capacity, quality and reliability, investigate root causes, document investigations, and collaborate with design/manufacturing teams on tooling and processes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or welding-related field.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production engineering processes on a daily basis to produce high quality products and achieve targets.
• Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions.
• Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability.
• Lead and support operations to resolve technical issues and document investigations, improving processes and designs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or welding field

AS9100 knowledge

ISO9001 knowledge

Welding (MIG/TIG) experience
