Job summary

Dufu Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is hiring an experienced Production Planning & Control professional for a full-time role.

You will oversee production planning, material management and control processes to ensure smooth, cost-effective manufacturing operations and lead a team toward continuous improvement. Depending on experience and leadership aptitude, the appointment may be offered at Assistant Manager or Manager level, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, inventory

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in production control and planning with leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, material handling and shipping/receiving.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans, material planning, inventory control, work-in-process tracking, capacity planning and variance control.
• Manage production scheduling to ensure timely delivery while minimizing inventory.
• Observe department performance, provide guidance and step in when necessary.
• Lead, train and support team members to enhance performance and growth.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and maintain CI.
• Monitor and report on KPIs to support informed decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
