Job summary

Dufu Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, seeks an experienced Production Planning & Control professional to oversee planning, material management, and control processes for efficient manufacturing operations.

The role involves leading a team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring timely product delivery. Appointment may be at Assistant Manager or Manager level depending on experience and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
5+ years in production control and planning with team leadership responsibility.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, material handling and shipping/receiving.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans, material planning, inventory control and capacity planning.
Manage production scheduling to ensure timely delivery while minimizing inventory.
Observe department performance and provide guidance as needed.
Lead, train and support team members to improve performance and growth.
Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity and quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and report on KPIs to support informed decisions.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
