Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Planning Support to assist in preparing daily and weekly production plans based on orders and capacity, and to coordinate with production, warehouse and purchasing to ensure materials are available. You will update production schedules, monitor ERP data, report on machine output and production quantities, and help maintain records and planning documents.

• Assist in preparing daily / weekly production plans based on orders and capacity.

2. Production Reporting

• Prepare daily production reports.
• Record machine output, manpower, downtime, and production quantity.
• Compile production data for management review.
• Ensure accuracy of production records and documentation.

3. Data Entry & System Update

• Update production information in ERP / planning systems / Excel.
• Maintain production databases and tracking sheets.
• Verify production data with supervisors.

4. Monitoring Production Performance

• Track production efficiency and output achievement.
• Highlight shortfalls, delays, or abnormalities.
• Assist planner or production executive to analyze production issues.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with production supervisors, QC, warehouse, and logistics.
• Follow up on material shortages or production changes.
• Support communication between planning team and shop floor.

6. Documentation & Filing

• Maintain production records, reports, and planning documents.
• Ensure documents are properly filed for audit or reference.

7. Other Support Tasks

• Assist in inventory reconciliation related to production.
• Perform other tasks assigned by production planner / manager.
