Job summary

Inter Island Group is seeking a Production Planner to develop rolling production plans aligned with customer demands and project forecasts. The role requires strong Mandarin and English communication, leadership, and solid data analytics skills.

You will generate material requirements, track material arrivals, and manage inventory to meet production targets. The position involves ERP order reviews, inventory controls, and coordinating responses to plan deviations within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Mandarin & English fluency for communication with clients.
• Minimum 3 years of production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data statistics and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop rolling daily/weekly/monthly production plans from demand forecasts.
• Generate material requirements; track arrivals and control inventory levels.
• Identify risks; provide early warnings and reports to meet plans.
• Formulate daily production schedules; ensure clear communication with Production.
• Adjust plans quickly as demand fluctuations occur; respond to thresholds.
• Monitor plan achievement and track abnormal production hours.
• Follow up on planning exceptions and coordinate rapid responses.
• Complete ERP review of orders; provide feedback on feasibility.
• Analyze stagnant finished goods and improve turnover; drive actions.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts per company requirements.
• Execute other tasks assigned by senior management.
