Job summary

Elite Material (Penang) Sdn Bhd, a leading copper-clad laminate manufacturer, seeks a Production Planning Lead to drive daily, weekly, and monthly plans aligning with sales forecasts and capacity.

You will coordinate with procurement, warehouse, production, and logistics to ensure material availability, monitor KPIs, and push continuous improvement while communicating in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in production planning, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute production planning activities to ensure production schedules meet customer demand, capacity, and delivery targets.
• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecast, capacity, and raw material availability.
• Ensure raw material availability through coordination with procurement and warehouse to support uninterrupted production schedules.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules proactively to meet delivery requirements and urgent orders.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards covering production performance, material planning accuracy, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, warehouse, production, logistics) to ensure smooth planning execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and material flow processes.
