Job summary

Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Research, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years in semiconductor planning or related domain.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP or planner systems.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of production workflows and documentation control.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
- Coordinate for NPI builds (ES / Qualification / Ramp / SOD) and readiness.
- Align schedules with Engineering, Production, and Procurement for material readiness and technical needs.
- Foster cross-functional communication to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and maintain departmental alignment.
- Monitor daily production progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to protect timelines.
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP / MES systems and ensure documentation accuracy.

Develop, manage, and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
Coordinate and ensure readiness for NPI builds (ES / Qualification / Ramp / SOD)
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, and Procurement teams to align schedules, material readiness, and technical requirements.
Facilitate clear and effective cross‑functional communication to resolve operational issues, mitigate risks, and ensure departmental alignment.
Monitor day‑to‑day production progress, proactively identifying potential delays or constraints and implementing corrective actions to protect timelines.
Ensure all required documentation—including Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and supporting records—are accurate, current, and compliant with internal standards.
Track production performance against plan and highlight risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to management and customers, providing clear visibility on status, milestones, and delivery commitments.
Monitor production progress (WIP, output, cycle time) and adjust plans to meet delivery targets
Track and manage NPI milestones, ensuring all timeline commitments are achieved
Identify potential risks (capacity, material shortage, delays) and drive recovery and mitigation plans
Support ramp‑up activities and transition to mass production
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and coordination.
Maintain accurate planning data in ERP / MES systems
Possesses a Diploma and bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Research, Engineering, or any related discipline
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor planning or a related field
Skilled in using Excel, ERP or any planner system
Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Solid understanding of production workflows and documentation control
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Proactive problem‑solving and analytical mindset

The factories are supported by extensive R&D and failure analysis staff and incorporate highly sophisticated, "state of the art" automated equipment, ensuring quality products which meet the exacting standards of all the automotive, telecom, computer and consumer goods industries. Both factories maintain world‑class quality standards having achieved ISO/TS 16949, ISO-9001, ISO-14001 certifications and comply to the Sony Green Partner Program. They are supported with a global network of sales and technical support offices. The China factory, Carsem-Suzhou Ltd., is located in the province of Jiangsu, 50 miles (80Km) west of Shanghai. The new factory is 172K sq. ft. (16K sq. m.) and is on 645K sq. ft. (60K sq. m.) of land in the Suzhou Industrial Park. The construction was completed in January 2004, the staff has been through extensive training in Carsem's existing Malaysian factories and the assembly and test equipment to support the manufacture of the MLP (Micro Leadframe Package) Quad and Dual was installed during the second quarter of 2004. Customer qualifications were completed during the second quarter and the factory started shipping production volumes during the third quarter of 2004.
