Job summary

Magma Tooling Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planner to join the planning and scheduling team in Butterworth, Penang. The role focuses on optimizing production flow, resource allocation, and timely delivery of products to customers.

It is a full-time position based in Malaysia. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in a related field, 2–5 years of manufacturing planning experience, and proficiency in MONITOR G5 ERP and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably production planning or scheduling.
• Experience in data entry or product data management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and office apps.
• Experience with MONITOR G5 ERP, especially production planning modules.

Responsibilities

• Plan production based on customer requirements and sales input.
• Prepare and monitor production schedules; coordinate with departments.
• Provide instructions for machine operations and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Coordinate with Sales/Engineering for changes and material planning.
• Monitor output vs. plan and manage inventory to meet demand.
