Job summary

KOSSAN is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to coordinate schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and ensure efficient flow and on-time delivery.

You will develop production plans based on orders, capacity, and material availability, monitor progress, and work with Production, Sales and other departments to meet deadlines and optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations.
• Able to manage multiple production lines, changing priorities and tight delivery schedules.
• Good attention to detail, strong problem solving & follow-up skills.
• Good communication skills coordinating with Production, Sales and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to coordinate production schedules, manage changing priorities, and ensure efficient production flow and on-time customer delivery.

Job Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop and communicate production plans based on customer orders, production capacity, material availability and operational readiness.

Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to meet delivery deadlines, quality standards and customer requirements.

Work closely with Production and relevant departments to optimize production flow and ensure timely completion of orders.

Inventory Management

Monitor WIP and inventory levels to support efficient production planning and ensure optimal stock availability.

Ensure compliance with FIFO principles across the plant and WIP inventory.

Order Fulfilment & Customer Commitment

Liaise closely with Sales to align production schedules with customer demand and delivery requirements.

Monitor the end-to-end order fulfilment process to ensure orders are completed and delivered according to plan.

Track order status and proactively resolve supply, production or scheduling issues that may impact delivery.

Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders on order priorities, delays, changes and recovery plans.

Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related field.

2- 4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations

Able to manage multiple production lines, changing priorities and tight delivery schedules.

Good attention to detail, strong problem solving & follow-up skills.

Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Sales and other key stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
