Job summary

KOSSAN is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee packing, loading, finished goods and WIP, warehouse and inventory operations in Meru, Selangor. Lead the team to ensure efficient material movement, FIFO compliance, safe operations, and timely delivery of FG and WIP.

Focus on manpower, space optimization, and continuous improvement to meet productivity and quality targets. The role requires strong leadership, coordinating with Shipping and Planning, and ensuring regulatory and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven warehouse management experience.
• Knowledge of WMS and inventory systems.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage packing, loading, and inventory control.
• Oversee FG/WIP storage and movement to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Planning and QA for on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, EMS, and OH&S policies.
• Prepare end-of-month stock and KPI reports.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Manager (Packing, Loading, Finished Goods & Work-In-Progress) to oversee packing, loading, warehouse, and inventory operations in Meru, Selangor. You will lead the team to ensure efficient material movement, inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, safe operations, and timely delivery of FG and WIP. The role also focuses on manpower and space optimisation, operational performance, cost control, and continuous improvement to achieve productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Packing:

Manage and plan packing processes according to the monthly shipment schedule.

Manage and ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of packing activities, flows, documentations and according to the customers and in-house requirements.

Responsible to manage and ensuring inventory receiving from WIP store and packaging material from Stamping dept are packed according to requirements.

Manage and ensure packed finish goods to Finished Goods Store (Loading) is on time and according to requirements.

Manage and ensure all packing data are accurate to the system.

Manage and ensure the packing department direct and indirect cost are established and controlled.

Finished Goods Store (Loading)

Plan and manage finished goods storage, loading, shipment activities, and inventory control.

Manage and ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of finish goods store management, flow, delivery documentations and other activities within the department.

Responsible to manage and ensuring finished goods received from packing and outsourcing are stored in accordance with SOP.

Manage and ensure outgoing shipment activities is on time and according customer requirements and SOP.

Verify accuracy and completeness of shipment documentation prior to container release.

Coordinate with Shipping and Planning departments for delivery planning and order fulfillment.

WIP Store

Manage and plan WIP storage with proper FIFO system and control the outgoing and incoming inventory of WIP gloves.

Manage and ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of WIP store management, flow, inventory movement, documentations and other activities within the department.

Ensure WIP inventory received from Production, subsidiaries and Packing is stored according to SOP.

Manage and ensure supply/issuing inventory to Packing is on time and according to requirements and SOP.

Ensure physical WIP inventory records are aligned with system data.

Operations, Compliance & Governance

Plan and manage manpower to ensure operational efficiency.

Ensure compliance with QMS, EMS, OH&SMS, HALAL, HACCP, GMP, 5S, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Ensure strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, including racking safety and chemical spill control.

Manage and ensure the facilities of forklifts, power jacks, hoist lifts, barcode scanners, packing conveyor and carton sealing machine, auto-packing machine, weighing scale, vacuum machine, strapping machine and any other related facilities are taken care of.

Lead and participate in continual improvement initiatives.

Ensure good collaboration and communicate with internal related department Productions, Shipping, Planner, Marketing, Stamping and QA.

Coach and train employees to ensure competency meets job requirements.

Responsible for implementation, revision, and control of documents and forms for ISO and annual audits.

Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant working environment.

Ensure to provide management the department end month stock reports and KPI reports timely (Packing, Loading & Warehousing)

Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in warehouse management, particularly in packing, loading and inventory control operations.

Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS).

Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehousing and logistics.

Strong operational exposure

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements

Manufacturing / production experience will be advantageous.
