Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics for planning and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Leadership abilities with experience mentoring a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand, inventory targets, and capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, production, quality, and logistics to ensure materials availability and minimize delays.
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery while optimizing resources and minimizing inventory.
• Analyze demand forecasts, capacity, and inventory to develop achievable production plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input, resolve issues, and align schedules with business objectives.
• Monitor production performance, track KPIs, and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Lead and mentor a team of production planners and schedulers.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Communicate production schedules and changes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job description

To develops and manages production plans that align with customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity. The role involves coordinating with procurement, warehouse, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available while minimizing delays and production costs.

Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing inventory levels.

Analyze demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels to develop achievable production plans and schedules.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to gather input, resolve issues, and align production schedules with business objectives.

Monitor production performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Lead and mentor a team of production planners and schedulers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and growth.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to support production schedules.

Communicate production schedules, updates, and changes to stakeholders, including production teams, management, and customers.

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.

Prepare and present production reports, presentations, and analysis to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or management of AESB from time to time.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in production planning and scheduling, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Leadership abilities, with experience in leading and mentoring a team of production planners and schedulers.
