Job summary

SDMK Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd in Nusajaya, Johor is seeking a production planner to schedule daily production based on the customer build plan and ensure alignment with orders and on-time delivery targets. You will liaise with customers about new orders and delivery requirements, coordinate with internal departments, and provide feedback on delivery, quality and production output.

Strong Excel and SQL skills and the ability to work under pressure are important assets.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel & SQL Software are highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in budgeting and resource allocation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan the daily production schedule based on the customer’s build plan.
• Ensure the production plan aligns with customer orders and meets on-time delivery targets.
• Liaise with customers regarding new orders and delivery requirements, and coordinate with internal departments accordingly.
• Provide feedback to internal departments regarding delivery, quality, and production output.
• Inspect finished products and conduct testing to ensure compliance with customer specifications, contract requirements, government regulations, and relevant standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your superior.
• Communicate customer expectations to internal teams effectively.
• Ensure production output meets customer expectations and communicate any issues proactively.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address customer requirements.
• Support internal sales in achieving company goals.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly reports.
• Conduct root cause analysis when daily production targets are not met.
• Ensure stock records in SQL align with physical inventory counts.
