Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and execute daily and weekly production schedules, balancing customer demand with manufacturing capacity.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure on-time delivery, optimize resource utilization, and drive schedule adherence across the plant in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ERP/MRP proficiency, and excellent communication to manage priorities and escalations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3+ years of production planning/scheduling experience.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
• Prioritize and sequence jobs based on demand, capacity and constraints.
• Monitor schedule attainment, WIP flow, and production performance.
• Manage production escalations and recovery plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material, capacity and delivery issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput and delivery performance.

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
