Job summary

Allied Precision Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain a production schedule for metal stamping, aligning with demand and customer orders. The role requires strong planning skills and experience with MRP processes.

You will monitor capacity, material availability and production performance, prepare regular reports on capacity utilization and efficiency, and participate in 5S, safety and ISO documentation activities as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in technical or any discipline.
• Knowledge of SAP system preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• 3–5 years’ experience in Production Planning from the metal stamping industries.
• Can work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a production planning schedule based on demand, orders and capacity.
• Prepare and maintain Material Requirements Plan (MRP) according to sales demand.
• Issue relevant documents on time, verified by superior and related department PIC.
• Monitor inventory and ensure optimum stock levels, including slow-moving items.
• Attend meetings and report on production capacity, machine utilisation and efficiency.
• Support company activities (5S, Safety, ISO documentation) as assigned.
• Perform any other duties as required by Superior.

Job description

To determine demand forecast according to sales forecast and sales/business information provided by Sales Engineer, Shipping or other source.

To prepare and maintain an effective metal stamping Production Planning Schedule according to the demand, customers' order requirement, material availability, production capacity, etc., include daily monitoring of production schedule and achievement, take necessary actions on unfulfillment of production order issue.

To prepare and maintain effective Material Requirement Plan (MRP) according to sales demand, purchase term & condition, etc.

On time issuance of relevant document correctly, verified & approved by Superior and acknowledged by the related department PIC without fail. Proper filing in compliance with ISO9001& IATF 16949 standard is required.

Inventory management for maintaining optimum stock level, includes slow moving stock monitoring.

To attend meeting with related department for fulfilling business needs. (GYATT Meeting, Planning Meeting, etc.)

On time reporting on operational activities and monthly reporting (production capacity, machine utilisation & operation Efficiency) as requested.

To engage in company activities (5S, Safety, Environment & Energy, ISO Documentation, etc) as assigned.

To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Superior.

Job Requirements:
