Job summary

Prodelcon Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, allocate manpower and machines, and ensure targets, quality, and delivery schedules are met.

You will ensure operators follow SOPs and safety rules, coordinate with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve issues, monitor output and efficiency, train staff, maintain records, and drive 5S and continuous improvement across the production area.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing environment, preferably precision engineering or CNC machining.
• At least 2 years supervising production operators or teams.
• Good understanding of production processes, planning, manpower allocation and daily scheduling.
• Able to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure targets are achieved.
• Allocate manpower and machines according to production requirements.
• Monitor output, efficiency, quality and delivery schedules.
• Ensure operators follow SOPs, procedures and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality on non-conforming products and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to resolve production and machine issues.
• Monitor material usage, downtime, scrap and rework.
• Train, guide and evaluate production operators.
• Maintain production records and submit daily/periodic reports.
• Promote 5S, safety and continuous improvement in production area.
