About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Production Operator to join the team at Hightec Plating Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Perai, Penang. As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe production of plated components to the highest quality standards. This position is integral to maintaining our production schedules and meeting customer requirements whilst adhering to strict safety and quality protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring plating equipment and machinery in accordance with production specifications and standard operating procedures
• Preparing and mixing plating solutions and chemical compounds to precise formulations
• Loading and unloading components into plating tanks and processing equipment
• Conducting routine quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards and specifications
• Maintaining accurate production records and documentation throughout each shift
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal operational performance
• Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors immediately
• Following all health, safety and environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Assisting in the training and mentoring of new production team members as required
