Job summary

APM Corporate Services in Malaysia is seeking a Production Manager to lead end-to-end production operations, ensure efficient planning, optimal resource utilization, and achievement of targets while upholding quality, cost, safety and on-time delivery.

You will drive operational excellence, coordinate cross-functional activities, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and develop a high-performing team to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, manufacturing or industrial discipline.
• Minimum 8 years in production/manufacturing, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with inventory and supply chain management, and quality systems.
• Prior automotive or high-volume precision experience preferred.
• Auditor certification in ISO standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end production processes and scheduling.
• Manage resources, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Ensure quality, safety and timely delivery targets are met.
• Lead 4M, 5S, and AMS standards; drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor staff; coordinate with multiple departments to resolve bottlenecks.
