Job summary

Sunway Building Materials Group in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Production Supervisor to help manage daily production activities, ensuring output, quality, and timely delivery while upholding safety and ISO standards.

You will lead a team of Supervisors and Operators, monitor performance and machine utilization, coordinate production schedules and resources, and drive improvements to reduce waste and boost productivity on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/production.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse operational data for decision support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Monitor production performance, machine utilisation, and efficiency trends.
• Support planning and coordination of production schedules and resources.
• Help resolve bottlenecks and operational issues.
• Guide and support Supervisors and Operators.
• Assist with manpower planning, shift arrangements, and task assignments.
• Promote safe work practices and ISO compliance.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, and other teams to address defects.
• Review production reports and provide inputs for planning and management reporting.
• Participate in improvement initiatives to optimise workflow and productivity.
