Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Scheduling role to plan and manage weekly and monthly fabrication and production schedules. You will coordinate with Production, Sales, and Installation teams to ensure on-time completion of orders and maintain material availability for smooth operations.

The role involves monitoring daily production activity, enforcing SOPs and 5S standards, and resolving scheduling issues to minimize delays and ensure safe, efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with production, sales, and installation teams to ensure workflow.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet schedules.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials (quartz, marble, granite slabs).

Responsibilities

Production Scheduling : Responsible for preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly fabrication and production schedules based on drawings, sales orders, production capacity, material availability, and site installation timelines. Coordinate closely with production, sales, and installation teams to ensure proper workflow and timely completion of orders. Monitor production progress, identify potential delays or scheduling conflicts, and adjust plans accordingly to ensure fabrication and installation activities are completed on schedule.

Material Control : Coordinate with Store teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, including quartz, marble, granite slabs, and production consumables. Monitor material requirements based on production schedules and upcoming orders to prevent shortages or production delays.

Production Monitoring & Compliance : Monitor daily production activities and workers' task assignments to ensure work is carried out according to production plans, company policies, safety regulations, and established SOPs. Coordinate with HOD and production teams to address operational issues, maintain work standards, and ensure safe and efficient production processes.

Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise closely with Sales, Production, Store, and Installation teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective coordination throughout the production process.

Quality, Equipment & Workplace Inspection: Conduct routine inspections to ensure product quality, proper handling and storage of stone materials, and the good operating condition of production equipment. Monitor workplace cleanliness, organization, and compliance with 5S practices to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive working environment. Identify and report quality, equipment, or workplace issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actionsuct routine inspections to ensure product quality, proper handling stone material, equipment maintenance, a clean and organized workplace (5S).

Operational Problem Solving & Corrective Action: Identify and resolve operational issues, customer complaints, production delays, and workflow disruptions in a timely and effective manner. Coordinate with relevant departments to determine root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions while minimizing disruption to production and project schedules. Follow up on corrective measures to prevent recurring issues and maintain smooth operations.
