Qualifications

• Willingness to learn, follow instructions and safety protocols.

Production Intern is responsible for assisting the production team in the manufacturing process by performing various tasks under supervision, while gaining hands-on exposure to production operations and quality control. This role is learning-based and requires adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures while working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Assist in assembling products according to specifications and quality standards, under supervision.
• Assist in operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment.
• Assist in inspecting finished products for quality assurance and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials and products.
• Assist in basic production documentation, record-keeping and data entry.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support production goals.
• Attend all briefings, training and development programmes as required.
• Complete the internship logbook, report and/or project assigned by the supervisor.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Education, Qualification, Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Pharmaceutical Technology or related field, and required to undergo industrial training / internship.
• No prior working experience required; exposure to a manufacturing or production environment is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic math skills for measuring and weighing materials.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word / Excel) for simple record-keeping.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and to assist in handling or moving materials is preferred.
