Job summary

Premier Plastic Industry Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable candidate to assist the Production Supervisor in managing materials, manpower, machines and equipment on the production floor. The role focuses on achieving daily output targets while maintaining safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

You will help supervise workers, monitor attendance and overtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Training new staff and reporting daily production metrics are also key duties in this

Responsibilities

• Assist production supervisor for efficient use of materials, manpower, machines and equipment.
• Oversee daily operations on the production floor.
• Supervise workers and manage attendance and overtime.
• Assist in monitoring manufacturing efficiency and quality performance.
• Assist to monitor production efficiency and quality performance.
• Check plant maintenance activities to ensure housekeeping, safety and equipment condition.
• Support Assistant Supervisor to monitor, organize and control daily production; ensure output vs target.
• Promote good teamwork and communication; rationalize material flow and handling.
• Ensure safety and security of team members, equipment, material and environment.
• Periodically patrol to ensure PPE usage and safety rules are followed.
• Train new workers on operating procedures and standards.
• Assist in related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain records of production output, quality and incidents; report to Supervisor.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

1. Assist production Supervisor for the efficient use of materials, manpower, machines, and equipment.

2. To supervise daily operations on the production floor.

3. Supervise workers and manage their attendance and overtime.

4. Assists in monitor manufacturing efficiency and quality performance.

5. Assist in monitoring production efficiency and quality performance

6. Assists to check plant maintenance activities to assure good housekeeping, safety and operating equipment in proper condition.

7. Assist the Assistant Supervisor to monitor, organise and control daily Production. To be responsible for daily production output vs target given.

8. To promote good teamwork and communication with staff and workers. rationalize consumption, storage, usage, handling and flow of material.

9. To ensure safety and security of team members, equipment, material and environment.

10. To patrol periodically and ensure that all workers follow safety rules and usage of PPE.

11. Train new workers in the line to adhere on operating procedures and standards.

12. Assist in any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor as and when necessary.

13. Maintain Record of production output, quality and any incident or issue, and report the Supervisor.

To carry out any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
