Job summary

LONGCHEER TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to guide operators on the shop floor, driving daily output, quality, yield, and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate manpower, conduct briefings, monitor performance, ensure SOPs, ESD controls, 5S and safety, and collaborate with engineering and planning to resolve issues. The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor/electronics, with strong leadership and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Prefer semiconductor/SiP/SMT/electronics production
• Experience as line leader or senior operator preferred
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities
• Familiarity with ESD, cleanroom, 5S and quality documentation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production operators to meet daily output, quality, yield, and delivery targets.
• Assign manpower and monitor attendance, productivity, discipline and performance.
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure employees understand production priorities and safety requirements.
• Monitor production conditions and respond to material, equipment, process and quality issues.
• Escalate abnormalities and work with engineering, quality and planning teams to close issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, work instructions, ESD controls, cleanroom rules, 5S and safety standards.
• Verify production records, lot traceability, WIP movement and shift handover information.
• Train and guide new operators while supporting skill development and cross-training.
• Assist with yield improvement, waste reduction, and corrective actions.
• Maintain effective communication between production management and shop-floor employees.

Key responsibilities

Lead and coordinate production operators to meet daily output, quality, yield, and delivery targets.

Assign manpower and monitor attendance, productivity, discipline, and work performance.

Conduct daily briefings and ensure employees understand production priorities and safety requirements.

Monitor production conditions and respond promptly to material, equipment, process, and quality issues.

Escalate abnormalities and work with engineering, equipment, quality, and planning teams to close issues.

Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, work instructions, ESD controls, cleanroom rules, 5S, and safety standards.

Verify production records, lot traceability, WIP movement, and shift handover information.

Train and guide new operators while supporting employee skill development and cross-training.

Assist with yield improvement, waste reduction, productivity improvement, and corrective actions.

Maintain effective communication between production management and shop-floor employees.

About you

At least 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in semiconductor, SiP, SMT, or electronics production.

Previous experience as a line leader, senior operator, or production team leader is preferred.

Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Able to manage manpower and production priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with ESD, cleanroom practices, 5S, quality control, and production documentation is an advantage.

Responsible, hands-on, disciplined, and focused on results.
