Job summary

Fuciphagus Agritech Sdn Bhd (FASB) in Penang is offering a Production Intern position to support the Production Executive in daily operations. The role provides hands-on exposure to production planning, scheduling, process control and daily manufacturing activities.

You will monitor production progress, record data, and report any abnormalities while learning how GMP/HACCP practices are applied in a premium edible products facility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Biotechnology or related fields.
• Studying Science, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in food manufacturing and production operations is advantageous.

• Support Production Executive in daily production operations.
• Assist with production scheduling and progress monitoring.

Job description

The Production Intern will support the Production Executive in daily production operations, including production scheduling, in-process monitoring, and daily production reporting. The role involves monitoring production progress, ensuring processes are carried out according to established procedures, recording production data, and promptly reporting any abnormalities to the Production Executive. This position provides practical exposure to production planning, process control, productivity monitoring, and daily manufacturing operations.

Preferred: Candidates with an interest in food manufacturing, production operations, process improvement, and manufacturing systems will be an advantage.
