Job summary

MayAir Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is offering a Production Intern role in Malaysia. You will work with the production team on daily activities, process improvements, and quality control to enhance efficiency and product quality.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in production planning, inventory control, and 5S/Kaizen initiatives while developing practical skills in documenting processes and supporting root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing in any Engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Good to have ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Possession of own transportation is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the production team with daily activities and basic planning.
• Monitor and record daily production output to support process improvements.
• Assist with basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Check raw materials and material usage against the BOM (Bill of Materials).
• Maintain and update production documents, reports, and records accurately.
• Support the production team in identifying production issues and gathering information for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other production-related duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Join us as a Production Intern and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, quality control, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with our production team to understand day-to-day manufacturing processes and contribute to improving production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the production team with daily production activities and basic production planning.

Monitor and record daily production output to support improvements in process flow and production cycle time.

Assist with basic quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards and specifications.

Assist in checking raw materials and material usage against the BOM (Bill of Materials).

Maintain and update production documents, reports, and records accurately.

Support the production team in identifying production issues and gathering information for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
