Job summary

Mega Fortris Berhad is seeking a Production Executive – Planning & Data Analytics to support daily production planning, monitor schedules, and ensure customer requirements are met. You will work with Production, Planning, QA/QC, Engineering and Warehouse to keep operations running smoothly.

You will analyse production data, prepare reports, and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to boost productivity, quality and delivery performance in a fast-paced electronics

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing, production, or related engineering fields.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing and/or injection moulding is an advantage.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills with good Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow up and monitor daily production planning and ensure schedules meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, QA/QC, Engineering, Warehouse and other departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor output, productivity, efficiency, downtime, yield and other KPIs.
• Analyse production data and prepare reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in investigating production problems and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, procedures and quality standards.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 1401 compliance and participate in audits.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and participate in cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain 5S practices in the production area.

Job description

Production Executive – Planning & Data Analytics

Follow up and monitor daily production planning and ensure production schedules are achieved according to customer requirements.

Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, QA/QC, Engineering, Warehouse, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Monitor production output, productivity, efficiency, downtime, yield, and other key production performance indicators.

Scheduled and follow up preventive maintenance.

Analyse production data and prepare reports to identify trends, issues, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Assist in investigating production problems and support corrective and preventive actions to improve productivity, quality, and delivery performance.

Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with established work instructions, procedures, and quality standards.

Possess basic technical knowledge in electronics manufacturing and injection moulding processes to support production troubleshooting and process improvement.

Ensure proper implementation and compliance with 5S practices within the production area.

Support and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 1401 (Environmental Management System) requirements.

Participate in internal/external audits and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.

Monitor manpower, machine utilisation, materials, and production resources to optimise operational efficiency.

Prepare regular production reports, including daily/weekly/monthly performance and management reports.

Identify areas for continuous improvement and participate in productivity, cost reduction, and process improvement initiatives.

Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable procedures.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Production, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

Preferably 2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing operations.

Experience in electronics manufacturing and/or injection moulding will be an advantage.

Strong data analytical and reporting skills, with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Good understanding of production planning, production processes, and manufacturing KPIs.

Basic knowledge of 5S, ISO 9001 and ISO 1401.

Good problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

Able to work independently, follow up effectively and meet tight production deadlines.

Hands-on, proactive, and willing to work closely with production floor teams.

Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
