Job summary

SDP Packaging Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Johor, is looking for a Production Executive to lead production planning, ensure machine setup and material readiness, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate manpower, supervise operators, enforce SOPs and safety, perform on‑the‑floor quality checks, and maintain audit-ready ISO documentation.

A Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing or related field and manufacturing experience are required; SAP experience is an advantage, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing or related field required.
• Manufacturing experience in a factory setting essential.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills; able to coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate SAP production data entry (orders, staging, scrap).

We are looking for a Production Executive to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations, quality compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

Plan production schedules and translate them into daily shift targets

Ensure machines are properly set up and materials are ready before production starts

Coordinate the 4Ms – Man, Machine, Material and Method

Coordinate with Maintenance to troubleshoot machine and production issues

Ensure operators comply with SOPs, safety requirements and work instructions

Conduct regular production floor checks on quality parameters and process compliance

Maintain audit-ready documentation for ISO and other standards

Supervise supervisors and operators, including shift scheduling and discipline

Conduct on-the-job training and develop multi-skilled operators

Ensure accurate SAP production data entry, including production orders, material staging and scrap

About you

Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Production, Engineering or related discipline

Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

Good understanding of production planning, manpower management and production processes

Experience with SAP and manufacturing systems will be an advantage

Good problem-solving, communication and leadership skills

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with Production, Maintenance and other departments
