Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to routinely service production equipment and jigs. You will diagnose problems from electrical diagrams, repair and modify tooling, and support the production team to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications include a diploma or higher in engineering and strong hands-on skills with basic tools; Chinese language ability is required, plus proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in mechanical/electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering.
• Must communicate in Chinese.
• Experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
• Strong hands-on repair skills with basic hand tools.
• Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of production equipment and jigs.
• Diagnose equipment problems and carry out repairs based on electrical circuit diagrams and technical documents.
• Perform repair, maintenance, adjustment, and modification of jigs and related tools.
• Support the production team in resolving equipment breakdowns and abnormalities to ensure smooth production operations.
• Use hand tools to perform equipment dismantling, repair, adjustment, and basic maintenance work.
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain proper maintenance records.
• Continuously learn and develop technical skills related to equipment and jig maintenance.
