Job summary

Robert Bosch Power Tools Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance of production equipment, machines, jigs and fixtures. The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and reducing production downtime.

Hands-on capability in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation-related issues is essential. Applicants should hold a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Electrical

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
Hands-on capability in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and jigs/fixtures.
Identify root causes of breakdowns and support corrective actions to improve machine reliability.
Work closely with Production teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Support TPM initiatives and equipment reliability projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic and automation-related issues.
Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams and machine manuals.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance to junior technicians where required.
Follow LOTO and 5S safety procedures.
