Malayan Flour Mills, Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, seeks a process engineer to monitor and optimize feed milling operations, including receiving, grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting and packing. You will analyze production data to improve throughput, yield, and plant efficiency, and identify bottlenecks for capacity gains.
Collaborate with Production, QA, Maintenance and Engineering to implement corrective actions, maintain SOPs, and ensure GMP, HACCP and feed-safety compliance while tracking KPIs

Monitor and optimize feed milling processes including receiving, grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting and packing.
Analyze production data and process parameters to improve throughput, yield, and overall plant efficiency.
Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives to maximize production capacity and equipment utilization.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on process deviations, quality issues, product losses, and downtime occurrences.
Develop, review, and maintain process operating parameters, SOPs, and best practices to ensure consistent production performance.
Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, capacity utilization, yield, pellet quality, energy consumption, and production losses.
Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, improving efficiency, lowering manufacturing costs, and enhancing process reliability.
Support commissioning, validation, and performance evaluation of new equipment, technologies, and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with feed safety, GMP, HACCP, customer and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's degree in chemical, Process, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Agricultural Engineering.
1-3 years' experience in feed milling, grain processing, food manufacturing, or related process industries (preferred).
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
Knowledge of OEE, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, HACCP, and GMP practices.
Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications.
