Job summary

Bunge Loders Croklaan Oils Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Engineer (Edible Oils Refinery) to optimize refinery operations and lead troubleshooting efforts. You will coordinate with planning to align production schedules, manage manpower, and drive continuous process improvements while maintaining strict adherence to ISO, FSSC, GMP and HACCP standards.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years in the food or palm oil sector, with experience leading

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
At least 3 years in food or palm oil, and experience leading teams of operators.
Knowledge of food safety standards like FSSC, GMP and HACCP.

Responsibilities

Optimize and troubleshoot edible oil refinery operations, adjusting process parameters to meet production targets and KPIs.
Lead plant-level problem-solving and develop work instructions to ensure efficient processes and operator training for continuous operational enhancement.
Ensure compliance with ISO, FSSC, GMP, and HACCP standards, maintaining quality and safety documentation.
Coordinate with Production Planning to synchronize schedules and optimize manpower utilization for timely product shipment.
Collaborate with Maintenance to initiate plant upgrades and improvements.
Record production data and prepare monthly performance reports for management.
