Responsibilities

• Optimize and troubleshoot edible oil refinery operations, adjusting process parameters to meet production targets and KPIs.
• Lead plant-level problem-solving and develop work instructions to ensure efficient processes and operator training for continuous operational enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, FSSC, GMP, and HACCP standards, maintaining quality and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with Production Planning to synchronize schedules and optimize manpower utilization for timely product shipment.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to initiate plant upgrades and improvements.
• Record production data and prepare monthly performance reports for management.

Production Engineer ( Edible Oils Refinery )

The Production Engineer is crucial role for optimizing edible oil refinery operations, ensuring efficient production, and achieving output and quality targets.

Key responsibilities include leading troubleshooting, coordinating production schedules with planning, and strictly adhering to quality (ISO, FSSC, GMP, HACCP) and safety standards. The role also focuses on manpower utilization, process improvement initiatives, and reporting.

Accountabilities:

Optimize and troubleshoot edible oil refinery operations, adjusting process parameters to meet production targets and KPIs.

Lead plant-level problem-solving and develop work instructions to ensure efficient processes and operator trained, for continuous operational enhancement.

Ensure strict compliance with ISO, FSSC, GMP, and HACCP standards, maintaining all necessary quality and safety documentation.

Coordinate closely with Production Planning to synchronize schedules and control manpower utilization for timely product shipment.

Coordinate closely with Maintenance team to initiate and support plant upgrades, maintenance improvements.

Record production data, prepare monthly performance reports for management, and maintain overall plant cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirement:

Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

At least 3 years in food or palm oil, and leading teams of operators.

Knowledge food safety standard like FSSC, GMP and HACCP. and Environmental Safety Health compliance

Good stakeholder handling and management style.
