Job summary

Lipidchem Malaysia is seeking a Production Manager to lead a daily production team in a palm oil/food manufacturing setting. You will drive throughput while ensuring safety, quality, and data integrity.

You should have a Degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years’ related experience, and knowledge of GMP/HACCP/ISO systems. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 3 years’ experience in palm oil or food manufacturing.
• GMP, HACCP, ISO Quality Management System knowledge.
• Ability to lead and interact with all levels; exercise independent judgment.
• Experience with production data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a production team on a day-to-day operation to meet daily targets.
• Train manpower to their full potential and deploy for optimum productivity.
• Present daily production indices and solicit process/equipment support to focus on bottlenecks.
• Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel.
• Ensure proper documentation and data integrity.
• Drive for quality improvement and address quality issues in the team.
• Plan and monitor WIP movement for maximum throughput and minimal idle time.
• Resolve line-related issues and understand equipment constraints to resolve bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA, maintenance and HR to keep operations smooth.
