Job summary

Kim Hoe Thye Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Production Clerk to record and maintain daily production output, downtime, rejects and related data, and to monitor stock levels and raw materials.

You will assist in organizing production schedules, prepare production documents and work orders, perform data entry into production systems, and support the Production Supervisor with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily production output, downtime, rejects, and related data.
• Monitor stock levels and track raw materials; assist in ordering supplies.
• Compile daily, weekly, monthly performance reports including scrap rates and defect logs.
• Assist in organizing production schedules and relay information between factory floor and supervisors.
• Prepare and maintain production documents and work orders.
• Perform accurate data entry into production systems or spreadsheets.
• Assist in monitoring raw material usage and production requirements.
• Maintain filing and organization of production documents.
• Ensure production records are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Assist the Production Supervisor with administrative tasks and other duties.
