Job summary

ELNA (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Penang seeks a Production Control Officer to liaise with HQ in Japan, coordinating production capacity and scheduling based on orders and material availability.

The role includes creating daily to monthly production plans, coordinating with procurement, warehouse and production teams to prevent delays, and compiling performance metrics for local management and HQ; fluent Japanese is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Japanese with verbal and written communication.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of working experience in production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing logistics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience using ERP/MSS systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the local factory and HQ in Japan regarding production capacity, planning adjustments, shipment and delivery timelines.
• Create and manage daily, weekly, or monthly production schedules based on customer orders and raw material availability.

About you
